Holly R. Corcoran, CPA, began her professional career in 1991 as a sole practitioner. Over the next three decades, she built and scaled a successful public accounting practice, ultimately forming a partnership with another local CPA, Corcoran Hegarty & Associates, LLC in 2013. The firm provided comprehensive accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services to closely held businesses, with a strong concentration in professional practices.

As her firm grew, Corcoran recognized that her greatest impact came not from traditional compliance work, but from helping practice owners make smarter financial and strategic decisions. She increasingly shifted her focus toward advisory services—helping veterinary and medical practice owners improve cash flow, strengthen operations, and plan proactively for growth.

This evolution culminated in the 2024 merger of Corcoran Hegarty & Associates with another firm, allowing Holly to fully transition into a boutique advisory and advanced tax-planning practice dedicated to serving veterinary practice owners and other high-earning professionals.

Personal Interests & Achievements

Beyond her professional life, Holly Corcoran has a personal passion for endurance horse riding with her Arabians. Since 2011, she has competed in international endurance (FEI) competitions, including 100-mile (160K) endurance rides.

In 2024, she completed the World Endurance Championship in Monpazier, France, with her 12-year-old mare, a testament to her meticulous planning, perseverance, and stamina.

The skills she honed through this sport—goal setting, careful planning, and chunking tasks—translate into her advisory work, where she helps clients break down complex business challenges into manageable steps.
